I am neither a theologian or minister and definitely not a “holy roller.” I am simply a person concerned that the only information many people have about God and Jesus and Christianity is often distorted.

Many people know Christianity from their childhood days of being made to sit still in church while others know only what they see on television or read in newspapers. Some have too harsh a view of Jesus, others too soft. Many have formed their opinion and perception of Jesus based on someone who claimed to be a Christian but wasn’t a very good example of Christ. And many, just like during a political election, will join the conversation repeating only what they have heard from others, giving an opinion as if it were there own, never doing the research to know if what they say has any merit.

My desire is to have you put aside the past and any unsubstantiated ideas you may have about Jesus and simply listen to what He has to say. You may find His words totally different than what you once believed or exactly as you have always known them.

Although many will experience great emotions as the truth of Jesus is revealed, His message does not necessarily need to be accepted purely on an emotional basis. Since there is more indisputable documentation regarding the life of Jesus, more than any event in ancient history, a reasonably intelligent person can reach a decision by considering the facts that are available.

Thus, I am a follower of Christ and an artist who has examined those facts with my mind, sought the truth with my heart and come to the only conclusion available that makes sense to me.
